Dr. Sherwood, DVM
Graduated from Kansas State University in 1965 with a BS degree and in 1967 with a doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Joined US Air Force and served in veterinary services at Keesler A.F.B., Biloxi,
Mississippi 1967 to 1969.
In 1969 entered private veterinary practice in Beaumont, Texas – branched out to Silsbee, Texas with 2nd location in 1986.
Still active in veterinary practice.
Past director on Texas Veterinary Medical Assoc. board 1997 to 2003. Past Trustee of Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation, Member of American Veterinary Medical Assoc/American Association of Equine practioners, lifetime member of Texas Veterinary Medical Association and member of Southeast Trxas Veterinary Medical Association.
Also, a member of Beaumont Spindletop Rotary and past President 1978-79. In addition, I am a Paul Harris sustaining member of Rotary.
Married to Mary and have three children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Wilkinson, DVM
Dr. Wilkinson graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science in 1992 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She has practiced in mixed large and small animal, small animal exclusive, and emergency clinics. She also spent 3 years_ at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine as a lab animal veterinarian, clinical instructor in anesthesiology, and clinical instructor in equine medicine. She has donated her time and resources to assist North American Chinese Shar Pei Rescue, feral cat trap/neuter/release programs and other animal organizations. She is an active member of Westgate Church of Christ and volunteers with several area youth organizations.
Dr. Donya Dupree, DVM
Received a Bachelor of Animal Science Degree in 1995 from McNeese State University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1999 from Louisiana State University. After Practicing emergency medicine and mixed animal medicine in Louisiana and Texas. Dr. Dupree returned to LSU Baton Rouge in 2006 and received both a Master of Science in Veterinary Parasitology and also a Masters of Public Health from LSU, New Orleans.
